Getting Used to the Studio

It took months to get around to it, but I finally got myself into the studio down the street from my apartment to play around.

Before now I've only ever had to deal with speedlights and umbrellas, but the studio has of gear that I have very little experience with.

My usual guinea pig Amberley was available to help me test the studio out.

Obviously I was going to make use of the biggest softbox I could find.




And the result of said softbox.




This was a failed attempt at something right before I switched setups involving gels and such. Monochrome salvage job FTW.




I totally admit this is biting multiple peoples styles, but I had to try out the gigantic boom with the small softbox.
